Hello to all of our pet personalities
and
pet people! We are two pugs, one fawn
(Sidney)
and one black (Boona) and we live in
Hollywood,
Florida.
We have many dog friends (including
a cute
black Cocker Spaniel named Romeo and
a golden
Cocker named Sheba), and also many
cat friends.
In fact, cats in Florida are pretty
assertive;
as we approach, most of them continue
to
stretch out in the middle of the sidewalk.
We nod politely and keep on going.
As pugs,
we pride ourselves on being able to
get along
with everyone!
One of our friends, a big orange tiger-striped
cat named Harry (who NEVER budges when
we
pass) has an interesting story about
himself
and his pet person.
Harry was a runaway and he got badly
hurt
in a fight. He had noticed a lady named
Brenda
who was always working in her beautiful
garden
although Brenda was well over 80 in
people
years (we don't even want to get into
her
age in dog years!). Anyway, one evening
Harry
approached Brenda's sliding glass door,
mewing
quietly and holding up his broken paw
for
her to see. Brenda took him to the
vet and
they became fast friends. Recently
Brenda
had surgery and Harry, who normally
prefers
to be outside, spent every day on her
bed,
keeping it warm for when she returned.
Harry
and Brenda are doing fine. Brenda continues
to garden and Harry watches over her
from
his command post on the sidewalk. Well,
that's

few weeks!
